Why Run For Office Now?

Local residents are being left behind. Our voices as a community are not being heard. The Board of Supervisors have failed us.

Families struggle to find affordable housing. Many of us spend countless hours commuting because unfortunately, there are not enough well-paying jobs closer to home. Our roads are horribly congested and continue to deteriorate. Our families need and will benefit greatly with better parks, soccer fields and youth sports programs.

We need a new voice, a new direction and better leadership to solve these problems.

I am running for District 5 to responsibly expand affordable housing opportunities, create quality living wage local jobs, aggressively improve commuter routes, repair our roads, strengthen and support public safety, and invest in parks, soccer, baseball, softball and other youth sports.

For 35 years, I have owned a local business and spent a lifetime serving San Benito County. I've also served our local schools, the County Board of Education, the San Benito County Farm Bureau Board, and helped establish the Hollister Ag Boosters. I have volunteered with many youth and agricultural programs throughout our wonderful community. 

San Benito County is a special place because of its people, farmers, working families, small business owners, educators, first responders, and generations of working families whose hard work and culture are core to our community.

I respectfully ask for your vote for new leadership and new ideas to ensure the success of all San Benito County residents.
